Andres Carpio is the Head of Operations of GFG Capital. Andres oversees the design, enhancement, and oversight of the firm’s Operations and Account Management department.

Andres takes a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all of the Operations Department systems, processes, workflows, and procedures.

Andres has been in the financial services industry since 2004. Prior to joining GFG Capital in 2013, he completed two internships at BCP Securities and Fierro Group. He also worked at Econoinvest Casa de Bolsa, and AV Securities as a Trader co-managing an open-end equity fund focused on Latin American oil companies.

In addition to his professional experience, Andres holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Venezuela, a Master’s in Finance from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion in Venezuela, and a Master’s in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
