Mauricio Gruener co-founded GFG Capital in 2003 to provide wealth management and investment advisory services to families.

GFG Capital is a multifamily office providing comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth private clients and their families and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser.

Prior to GFG Capital, Mauricio was a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”) in the Private Client Services division. Mauricio joined CSFB in 2001. At CSFB, Mauricio managed assets for high-net-worth individuals. Prior to joining CSFB, Mauricio worked at Lehman Brothers Wealth Management Group. Mauricio also worked at HSBC (formerly Republic National Bank of New York) in the fixed-income-trading desk and later in the Private Clients Group. Mauricio received his MBA from Thunderbird Business School with a major in Finance. He also attended University of California San Diego, where he received a degree in Quantitative Economics. He is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
